Our pediatric clinic and sensory gym is situated on the border of Concord and Clayton, serving the local community. We offer individual and group therapy sessions as well as unstructured open-play throughout the week. The facility features two sensory gyms, an outdoor play area, and multiple treatment rooms.
Unstructured times when children and families can explore various sensory equipment and activities at their own pace. These sessions encourage play that involves motor skills, tactile exploration, and movement, all designed to support sensory processing.
The gym has a range of specialized equipment including swings, trampolines, balance boards, crash pits, and vibration tools. These are used for both recreational and therapeutic purposes.
These areas are designed to help children or individuals who may become overwhelmed. They often include soft lighting, calming sounds, and sensory-friendly toys or equipment such as weighted blankets, tactile objects, or deep pressure providing materials.
