Sensory and motor-based feeding therapy for picky eaters.
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is an evidence-based listening therapy designed to reduce sound sensitivities and improve auditory processing, behavioral state regulation, and social engagement behaviors through filtered music. The SSP involves listening to specially filtered music through headphones alongside a provider, in-person or remotely. Suitable for children and adults, the SSP has demonstrated benefits for individuals with trauma, anxiety, sensory processing differences and more.
Focus programs use music and movement provide input to multiple senses at the same time, to improve brain and body organization and function. This is accomplished through the interaction of simultaneous, multi-sensory input to the motor, visual, vestibular (balance and coordination), and auditory systems. Bone conduction headphones are used.
